Scotiabank Needs both a New Marketing & Technical Team. Or not.

April 18, I receive a mail from Scotiabank, touting a contest running April 1 to May 1, 2008.

Dear Valued Customer,

ScotiaBank and ScotiaBankPlace.Com is very happy to announce a new Try It And Win! contest, for its customers.

In order to take part in this contest you are required to be have a Scotia Bank OnLine Services user, meaning you have to already have or if not to activate your Scotia Online account.

The contest will take place between the 1st of April 2008, and the 1st of May 2008. The contest winners list is updated weekly on our web site. There are no registration fees, or any other fees for joining our contest except the above condition.

So i clicked Ok, which is a really really bad thing to do when your banks otensible cert is from The Ottawa Senators. just saying, fine hockey, bad to have a hockey site show up when I am doing some banking.

or maybe it is a phish? It seems to have originated from which is somewhere in Pennsylvania.
